Tomorrow (after 3pm) and for most of the day on Saturday, Watts & Hughes, our head contractors, alongside licensed asbestos removal specialists, will be onsite. They will be working within the fenced-off area to safely remove identified asbestos buried in the soil bund along the school boundary. This work is being carried out under strict asbestos removal protocols that have been approved as part of the Western Bay of Plenty District and Tauranga City Council resource consent. Only specific areas of the bund have been identified to contain asbestos based on rigorous testing. The remaining soil will be retested and either reused onsite or removed as needed. We are excited to see this part of the project progress, allowing us to continue building work ahead of the Christmas period. Four Square Papamoa are turning two! To celebrate, they are offering $1 soft serves all week from November 25th-1st December. As well as many other specials, tastings, and a special guest.

This little team of Pap Primary foot soldiers were out in force this evening, joining the incredible army of volunteers for the annual Papamoa Emergency Services Food Drive! We’re so proud to support this amazing community initiative, donating our school van, tamariki, and manpower to help make a difference. Every single item collected goes towards filling cupboards and supporting Papamoa families in need. This hardworking crew racked up 10k steps each, packed our van with overflowing boxes, and helped fill trailers with donations that were then unloaded alongside hundreds more at the Papamoa Food Hub A huge thank you to everyone who gave so generously. Our tamariki were blown away by the kindness and community spirit on display. What an incredible place we live in!
